I offer business yoga and one-to-one training with sequences tailored to your personal needs. I will show you how to have fun with yoga and truly enjoy your practice, all flavoured with my unique blend of humour and serenity.

About Me
My name is Arlette and I am a yoga teacher in Berlin. Nice to meet you!
I’ve lived a life full of experience. Born and raised in Berlin, I have been practicing yoga for 25 years. In that time, I have come to understand how the body, mind and heart belong together. I believe that yoga embodies all three: as we move, we focus our minds and find loving peace in our hearts.
But that wasn’t always the case. During my first yoga class, I was honestly just…not feeling it! I wasn’t sure if yoga was right for me, and I didn’t yet understand how my inner life could be awakened by my breath and my movements. However, over time, I began to unravel the stories that were within me, while also discovering the joy that comes from simply ‘being.’
Yoga aroused my curiosity, and I found peace and power in my practice. I wanted to share my newfound knowledge with others, believing that I could support them on their own journeys with warmth and with love. I decided to train as a yoga teacher.
I honed my craft with over 500 hours of training at Spirit Yoga, which offered a contemporary translation of the more-than-3000-year-old Indian practice of yoga, providing me with a clear and well-grounded foundation. I also received my Yoga Alliance Certification.
My Practice
Nowadays, due to digitalisation and globalisation, the pace of our lives has sped up dramatically. This makes it all the more essential for us to create spaces for ourselves in which we can slow down, take a breath, and simply ‘be.’
We need to learn how to turn our gaze inward carefully and thoughtfully, so that we can recognise the habits, patterns of thought and behaviours that form who we are, and who we want to be.
But how? Yoga is a way.
1:1 Personal Yoga
No matter whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced yogi – a private lesson enables a bespoke learning experience and practice that is tailored to your needs.
In a one-on-one setting, I can concentrate fully on individually guiding you and correcting your postures when necessary.
After three hours together, I will develop a unique optimal sequence of movements designed to meet your individual needs, and I will give you the tools and tips you need to intensify and deepen your personal practice.
Business Yoga
I also offer special yoga classes for companies. In my experience, regular practice not only improves health and decreases stress levels, it also creates a better sense of team spirit by bringing colleagues together for a shared experience. The long-term result: people have more fun working together, communicate better, and feel an overall better connection with the people they see every day. Right from the start, I look to see which sequences and exercises best meet the needs of the group. I will create a practice that best fits those needs, and which will benefit each participant as much as possible.
